Dear all, with this release Krysalisound closes its life cycle and thanks everyone for the support received over the years.
I chose this album for several reasons, title and concept first of all: according to the ancient Sufis the cycle of life is divided into 4 great times called the time of growth, the time of stability, the time of prosperity and the time of wisdom. It is a concept that fascinated me from the first moment I read it and that prompted me to record the first drafts after the album Boke.
This is the album that had the longest journey among those recorded so far. Started in 2018 and re-edited in 2022-2023 with the collaboration of the singer Lilium, it became a work that touches different styles and that brings together what we have done so far between ambient, sound art, meditation, electronic and electroacoustic works.
Another great reason why I chose this album is the desire to close the circle with her, my life partner, who pushed me to open a label in 2011. And after collaborating with so many monikers I am happy to close in the simplicity of our names.
It’s strange how difficult the word “end” is for human beings… we stubbornly continue to believe that everything is an infinite line but in reality there are only circles… everything that begins sooner or later has an end.
