Drop Series is a sound diary started in 2019 in which i collect my experiments during the year.
All the tracks are recorded in one day and for the 2021's folder i decided to not use the computer during the recording process. It was an experiment but i think i will often use this approach in the future.
I literally enjoyed playing and recording in dawless mode, it reminded me my first compositions with the Boss BR-8. Sometimes it's beautiful to turn the computer off and not see the light of the monitor. Maybe i'm getting old but i feel more and more this need to touch things and I think this desire reflects my music as well, my evolution from electronic to acoustic sounds and my research towards imperfection and natural things. Never like this year I felt the necessity to look for the silence and and warm notes...
After Lieve I hope you will also enjoy these bunch of music.
